Pacific were edged out by two wickets in a thrilling contest on the always spicy Mayfield turf. We set Mayfield 131 after a gritty determined Pacific lower order gave us a total to bowl at. Pacific's bowlers and fielders fought hard, chipping away with regular wickets but Mayfield batted deep and Mr Shaf Kazi steered his team home. We were arguably batter light and bowler heavy. Still, apologies to those who craved a longer spell.
As always, losses are hard to take, but both teams played with a great spirit.
