Winning the toss and, thinking only eight Pacifists were at the ground, Toby elected to bat first. We only made 86, with Oli top-scoring with 14 as a strong Oakfield Parkonians (formerly Old Parkonians) bowled good line and length and got the ball to swing and nibble around off the pitch. They then knocked off the runs for only two wickets (one of them a run-out with Toby throwing the ball to Webley to take the bails off), meaning the match was all over by tea, but not before Webley produced a peach of an in-cutter to dismiss their opener. Pacific's bowlers bowled well but never had enough runs to play with.
Thanks to K Dog for match managing and Mark for scoring. TC
