After a marvellous innings from skip Tom and an almighty middle order collapse (numbers 4-7 failed to score a run) we posted 190 odd. The chase by Oakfield Parkonians (formerly Old Parkonians) was proceeding well at 110 for 1 before Paul took four and made serious inroads into their middle order. Webbo took three and Ahmed the last two to snatch victory with four or five overs left. A great win, aided by some of Pacific's best groundfielding in recent years, with Andy Birley and Stu Hopper throwing themselves about for the cause and 'scoreboard pressure' building throughout the innings.
