They ran well & utilised accurate placement & big shots. following that,
their bowlers made early inroads :- 4-1, 6-2, 13-3, & 19-4 & there was no
genuine prospect of a chase.Wickets continued to fall to the part time
bowlers as 7 in total were used. Only Captain Steve Lay & John Green reached
double figures as the last wicket fell ignominiously. News that they decided
that we were not of sufficient quality to tax them, thereby dropping us from
their fixture should therefore surprise no one.
