Pacific batters went missing in Highgate Woods today, Hollman nearly succeeded in carrying his bat but there was little opportunity for fluent stroke play from either end as Black Rose comfortably defended a useful total on a poor low bounce pitch which some excellent wicket to wicket bowling couldn't score from without risk.

Earlier, the bowling & fielding had been solid, John Baglivi, Kurt Rademaker & Aroon Korgaonkar in particular.

But the key wicket of Jon Webley caught by his opposite number brought to an end a lengthy period of consolidation & sadly the platform disappeared very quickly afterwards as the in coming batsmen failed to get to grips with the stream of quality bowling the home side presented.
