Lost by 108 runs
Friendly fixture

The tour began on Wednesday when Pacific player at Exeter CC, a venue that has hosted Minor County matches.

Exeter CC 208-6, N Choudharty 77, I Amos 2-21, T Mileham 2-31
Pacific 100 all out, D Murray 33

Exeter were always in control scoring 208-6, with N Choudharty a breezy 77. Ian Amos took 2-21 and Tim Mileham 2-31. In reply, Pacific were struggling from the start, and had to try and bat out for a draw. All looked lost when David Murray was out for 33 (from a painstakingly slow 100 balls) but then John Hill hung on with last man Martin Dobson for 10 overs.
Exeter bowled a staggering 25 overs in the last hour, rewarded when Hill was given out lbw off the last ball of the match. While the victory was deserved, it was a hard loss to bear.
