The match was abandoned after everybody arrived as the rain continued to pour. A 10 minute break raised hopes of a reduced over match but before that could go ahead, the rain started again. No chance of revenge for The Fallops then.

The no result leaves Pacific with a symmetrical looking set of league results:- won 5 lost 5 & 2 no results, added to which 1 cup defeat. Not the greatest of seasons having secured a mid table berth, but improvement on the 99 & 98 seasons & with the 3 antipodeans - Matt Ralph, Scott Kiernan & Chris O'Grady all committed to the 2001 season - the future looks bright.

The League End of Season Awards are scheduled to be presented on 17/8 & Pacific's own League Player of the Season will be announced at the same time. The averages will be circulated prior to the event to help fellow participants with their voting selections.
