A five o'clock start on the longest day meant difficult conditions when Pacific batted, with one end facing into the setting sun. Despite this they overcame Devon's 148 all out to reach 149-5.
Ian Lay (44) and David Murray (50 not out) put on 89, with Murray also taking 4-37 to be the pick of the Pacific bowlers, along with Matthew Ralph who bowled a hostile spell.
