We made it four wins in a row yesterday on our first trip to Preston Park, Webley, to take on our aquatic brethren Windermere CC. We bowled first in a match reduced to 30 overs a side due to the prospect of rain. Opening pair Stockton and Tejas manacled Windermere in the first 10, and Windermere were thereafter in a battle to set a decent total. Sandeep Nair took his first wickets in three years with a brace and Aroon bowled a lovely spell, beguiling all the batters who were desperate to add some pep to their innings. Our ground fielding was exemplary as our oppo set us 140. Toby got our innings off to the best possible start, hitting anything loose for fours and a delicious six over extra cover. He was out for 40 odd, before a 70 odd partnership between a resurgent Ben Burnham (37) and Sumeet (40+) almost took us home, before Mutz and Hoggy finished off proceedings. Well done to the eleven.
