I had always imagined that the game was called off due to some awful weather that persisted in the days prior, but I found out several days later that they were unable to raise a side. But they only told us on Saturday. Hmmm. We¹ll be gracious & forgive this year - nothing to do with their facilities, pitch etc mind.
