The IIs did struggle against the Red Conference winners as anticipated. There were useful batting contributions from Oli Haill, Samnmy Purcell & James McDonell but when Hollman was bowled with 3 overs remaining there seemed little hope.

After McDonnell went for 20 in over no. 1 it did seem that a longer pub session was even liklier but Hollman turned to spin & Haill & Korgoankar shackled the Bangladeshi side to the extent that it took them longer to get the runs than Pacific had batted. Sadly only 1 wicket went down, the fielders shunned, a stumping, catches at long on & mid off & over cover or the Tiger line would have been very wobbly indeed. As it was they did win on a wide
