Park in South Tottenham, Greater London

The pitch is an astoturf in good condition. It is very long. So point 1 is that players can’t wear spiked shoes, only flat soles. Oppos will need to be informed. We will need to take a set of springback stumps (plus bails) to each match.
The outfield area is very large. We should measure out a boundary that accords with MCCL playing conditions. Then mark the boundary with white plastic flags (best buy a new set). There must be a groundsman there because there are fresh white lines for football matches. Maybe he will mark a boundary line for us. Will try to find out from Haringey and get his phone number so we can have a chat?
There are changing rooms and toilets in a building at the western end of the park. Will find out how we get access to these and especially whether we can lock the room we use? Would be a place to shelter if it rains, though the cafe (see below) would be nicer.
The car park is small and closes at 6. There may be parking in the roads that run into the park from the west, alongside the school. There’s no parking in Markland Road that runs into the park (and its car park) from the north.
There’s a cafe in the park. Looks ok. I spoke to the owner, who was very helpful. He would like to be informed of our match schedules. His email is rabbaa@gmail.comand phone number 07990 511976.
