Thanks for resetting the fixture & we would be delighted to play the match again. I’m sure the guys wouldn’t be too disappointed if you didn’t get the Met Ground as Hampstead Heath Extension is much easier.
You also make a good point about the connectivity & I had heard that Tim went which is great. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to. I think I’ll flag this as a match we want to target the past & any present Pacific players to make themselves available for it & I’ll try & do better to make it too
I think I’ve got the time span when James played his 1st & last games but I’m cc in Steve who’s our club historian & once I have those dates confirmed I’ll start contacting people to help make it a special event.
As I say HHE would be a preferable option but let’s see how your application turns out & I’ll post it on our site as such
