Reporting on last months comp in Buckinghamshire shortly before Summer arrived!
Earlier in July, before Summer!, 6 of us made our way to defending champion Adrian Duthie’s manor to challenge his attempt to make it 3 wins in a row!
We congregated at Hazlemere Golf Club in Buckinghamshire in damp overcast & wet conditions & on a very hilly course, sure footing was mostly uncertain.
Nevertheless there were highlights with both Darryl Roberts & Stephen Richards picking up birdies, Adrian Duthie & Steve Emmins both chipping in & Pete Hollman the only sand save.

1st Darryl Roberts 95 shots (33 points).
2nd Adrian Duthie 96 (31).
3rd Steve Emmins 97 (33).
4th Stephen Richards 98 (37)
5th Peter Hollman 104 (23)
6th Craig Jones 105 (31)
James Smith withdrew.
Stephen Richards 37 points leaving him as handicap winner.
Darryl has already chosen the 2025 venue as Surrey National near Caterham. Green fees £35 pp. Wednesday 18th June TBC.
