It was a cold day for this intra-club fixture, but there were two very promising outings from newcomers Tristan and David who both scored nice 50s in contrasting styles. Riz and Luke also looked in ominous form with the bat. It was cold (did I mention that?), with a long grass and a crater-ridden outfield at Hackney Downs, but we enjoyed some early-season cricket and good vibes nonetheless. Those with an eye on the scorecard may be disappointed to learn that Fred is not the footballer, and David Gray is not the singer-songwriter.
