Mutz won the toss and we batted first, with Paul Rajkumar and Toby Chasseaud both retiring on fifties. Colin Pollard, our only wicket to fall, was unlucky to be run out backing up when the bowler got a finger to a Ben Burnham straight hit and the ball was deflected on to the stumps. We finished on 151 (I think) in our 16 overs, which was a decent score considering the long, uncut outfield on Pitch 3.

The bowlers – Max Mortiboys, John Deighan, Mark Mehta, Colin and Benny B – all performed well and we took five wickets (I think) but MUFG hit some big shots (and were helped by a drop or two) to get themselves over the line with two or three balls to spare.
