The Free Marketeer and Toby put on a good opening stand of 60, with the former scoring more freely, as Toby, having earlier deprived himself of four runs by driving the ball back hard at centre stump at the non-striker's end, gloved one down the leg side that popped. Mark continued playing some glorious shots as he made the most of the parched, lightning-fast outfield. 

Luke and Seb both chipped in in the middle order but it was Rahul who really picked up the pace, hitting 41 off just 32 balls, before being run out by a direct hit. Chai looked good before being adjudged LBW. Jahangir also played a handy little cameo. 

When London Fields came to bat, a strong opening partnership between Turner and Knight put them in a commanding position. But Chai got the breakthrough, bowling Turner with a cracking delivery.

Then Korgy took a sharp, low return catch to dismiss their No 3, who did not want to go, claiming that the ball had hit the ground. The umpires consulted and the batsman was given but still did not want to go, prompting Harry to tell him: "You're out." To which the batsman gave his finest LL Cool J response.

Chai's spin got us back in the game but we were dealt a most unfortunate blow when Rahul landed on his knee diving to stop a ball and was unable to get up. He eventually limped off and was replaced by sub fielder Manav. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery.

Fields got home with 2.1 overs to spare. 

It was a good game of cricket and an extra 20 runs might have won it for us.
