Tight bowling and uncharacteristically good fielding and catching contained Highgate to just 140 from 47 overs, with Siddarth Turaga impressing on his Pacific debut.

Upon Highgate's declaration a great tea of Thai chicken and egg fried rice was enjoyed along with a nice selection of sandwiches and a cuppa.

Ben O'Connor feared that he may have eaten too much as he strode out to open the batting with Toby Chasseaud on the hybrid pitch but he needn't have worried as the pair put on 135 for the first wicket and it was left to Navyjot Devesher to hit the winning runs.
