Pacific v Bloody Lads at London Fields
Bloody Lads 213 all out
Pacific 215 for 8
Pacific recorded their first North East London League victory of the season with a win over Bloody Lads at London Fields. Lads elected to bat first and raced to 213 but were bowled out in 33.5 overs. The dangerous James Mulvey hit a quickfire 53 thanks to some wayward opening bowling, and Patrick Alexander (32), Joe Ridout (21) and Karl Mathieson (26) also contributed. Ahmed Hussain finished with 3 for 16 off 4.5 overs; James Soden 1 for 40 off 8 overs; Tim Garrett 2 for 57 off 6; and Toby Chasseaud 1 for 23 off 5.
When it was Pacific's turn to bat, some big hitting by Chris Duncan (78) and a particularly aggressive Jack Malnick (64 not out) helped them home with two wickets to spare. John Deighan (18) and Toby Chasseaud (22) also chipped in.
