Despite a lack of regular bowlers, Pacific made pretty light work of beating Palm Tree to finish in second place in the inaugural October Cup. Sumeet Sharma was without doubt the man of the match. In his usual position behind the stumps, Sharma took a catch and completed a Jasbir Basi runout from a throw that he thought might never get to him. Then, when called on to bowl, he blew away the tail with his medium pacers. And then he scored 69 not out, leaving Mark Woodland wondering if there's anything he can't do…
