Although the bowlers and fielders didn’t put in that bad an effort, we were hamstrung by conceding more extras than we would have liked. That Broadway opener Fulcher got a 50 was also the decisive factor, with only Aly Duncan on his midweek debut getting a real contribution of sorts. Paul Rajkumar falling for 15 meant it was too much of an uphill battle for the Pacific batsmen in the fading light. Although this campaign has ended in a bit of disappointment there was improvement over the year. It would be nice to kick on next year.
