At least it was the warmest weather of the year which was not saying much. Swindon Town FC¹s Darren Bullock impressed with a bludgeoning near century & was caught by Steve Lay on the long on boundary or he would have had a century. Seamers Ian Lay & John Baglivi bowled well but the batters got stuck into our change bowlers. Additionally, Rushwick's bowlers dominated & last man Ian Lay top scored & with Mat Patel put on 64 to deny them their deserved win batting out the last 14 overs.
