A delightful weekend to start the season ended in a last ball finish to this 40 over game. Mutual agreement meant Juniors bowled first. Seniors used a supersub whilst Juniors only had 11. The Seniors were in trouble at 51/5 but some dropped catches and a policy of rotating the bowling allowed a free swinging Haill to lay a base for Doug Teesdale and Smith to attack from.

The Juniors appeared to have the match done and dusted with a superb hundred opening partnership in which Seb thumped 69 but then Mike couldn't lift his scoring rate before being stumped and Webley was strangely becalmed at the end.
