A tight game was contested between Pacific and London Wanderers. Although Pacific lost 2 early wickets Bastin(41) and Faisal(48) had little trouble in moving the score along at a decent rate. Wanderers finally had a full quota of players on the pitch at 7.05pm. A late cameo from Roberts(22) pushed the score onto a commanding 139-5. This total though looked a little short as Badge Alam found the going easy with a rapid 26. On his dismissal though the run rate climbed up for Wanderers as Pacific bowlers found there line.

Roberts in particular finding a tight line. Connell(41) and Myers(32) though steadied the ship and with his usual panche Monsell(16*) was there to knock of the runs with an over to spare
