'For the third time in this seasons campaign Pacific recorded another win and by far the most spectacular one.
Winning the toss and deciding to bat first Webley opened the batting with Pritchard and got off to a flying start thanks to some wayward bowling. There was to be only 1 wicket lost in Pacific's innings, that of Pritchard for 26 to a 2nd bounce grubber which may well of been called a no ball on another day. After this minor set back Pacific continued to press on the accelerator and push for a large total. Webley and Tempany both retired on exactly 50 and Faisal hit 5 maximums to guide Pacific to 197-1 off 16 over.
The Fallopians reply started steadily and it was Roberts who made the early breakthrough thanks to a smart one handed catch from Emmins as square leg. Mylam played some good attacking shots and looked to be the fallopians only hope of a reasonable total until he ran himself out on 23. The rest of the wickets were spread amongst the seamers with Roberts picking up 3-17 and Tempany finishing the inning off with two good full length balls to end up with figures of 2-16.
The Fallopians ended on 77 and pacific left the ground very much the happier of the two sides.'
