League new comers, The Bengal Tigers, so named after their football teams favourite curry house in Brick Lane found themselves up against an old school Pacific line up with Lahore Kebab House on their mind. The lure of the chicken & lamb tikkas were the overwhelming force as the Pacific bowlers saught a hasty dismissal of their currying counterparts.
Wickets fell at too regular intervals for the newcomers' liking with Gleadow & Roberts reducing the Tigers to 23-3 before Hollman cleaned up the tail, & the last wicket falling to the last ball.
In reply, a combination of Pacific over confidence & useful opening spells from Cox & Iverson saw all but the Campbell in the top order dismissed cheaply. Campbell's 27 held the innings together & there were enough overs in hand for Gleadow & Roberts to see the Islingtonians home without any further alarm once Campbell was out.
