Opening night of week 8, saw the two matches, after MUFG forfeited their tie against Homerton. On pitch 1, London Tigers romped to victory against Super Rangers in a high scoring tie.
On pitch 2, Pacific ended their first stage of the season with five out of five victories with a closely fought win over Victoria Lounge. Pacific ended up on 159-1, with Simon Wedlock striking his second successive fifty. In reply, the league leading run scorer Greg Rampersad, continued his purple patch with a well struck 55, and despite returning to the crease it wasn't enough, as Victoria Lounge slipped to a five run defeat.
Division 2 now beckons for Pacific, alongside Super Rangers, as Victoria Lounge take their place in division 3 from the end of June.
