Locksbottom End Up on Top!
Pacific v Locksbottom at Tugmutton Common, Locksbottom  Sat 08 Jul 2006 at 2.30pm
Lost by 3 wickets
Friendly fixture

Pacific succumbed in the penultimate over of an evenly matched encounter - a lack of depth in the batting and insufficient firepower with the ball eventually proving their undoing.

Batting first, partly due to a lack of players held up on the way to Kent, skipper Steve Lay led the way with a watchful 33. Lay and Peter Hollman steadied the ship following Matt Holliday's bizarre run out - when he set off for a suicidal single when silly mid on had the ball in his hands!

XI: Jim Davies, Steve Lay*, Peter Hollman, Matt Holliday+, Matt Callender, John Hill, Joe Bennett, Jon Brown, Dan Bird, Moses Hutchinson-Pascal and Jai Rajaraman.
