The cup first round continued tonight as Sky 2 earned a tense victory in the final over against Pacific, setting up a second round tie with Camel Lights. [Pacific struck 157-5, with Rizwan smashing a rapid 51, alongside 39 from opener John Deighan. In reply, Sky 2 slipped to 50-2 before 54 from Azman Shahan and 52 from Shahi earned Sky victory with three balls to spare.

NB Aroon was not run out coming back for a 2 which would have meant the return of retired 50* Rizwan! Not illegal but barely in the spirit of the game.
