So close no matter how far
Pacific v UCS Old Boys at UCS Playing Fields  Mon 25-May-2015 at 11.30am
Drawn

With less than five runs an over needed from the final 20 and six wickets remaining, there were hopes that Pacific would win this fixture for the first time in 10 years. But, alas, it wasn't to be, meaning that UCS Old Boys retain the Lindridge-McDougall Memorial Cup.

With thanks to Christopher Clayton for scoring.

Pacific face their opening fixture of the 2015 Middlesex and Essex Invitation League this Sunday against Chigwell following the much needed tonic of a draw on the lush fields of Cricklewood vs UCS Old Boys yesterday. Fuelled by a sit down lunch and tea, Pacific battled gamely with the ball and bat. Opening seamers Bridgett and Chandramouli were outstanding in their lines and lengths, while Paul Davis bowled a canny medley of spin and seam deliveries to perplex eventual centurion Pickhaver. Encouragingly, skipper Chasseaud looks to be coming into form just at the right time, a fluent 85 his best innings of the season before being caught by a diving Powermouse at deep midwicket.
