Too Thorny
Pacific v Rose & Crown at Victoria Park Pitch 1  Tue 20-Jul-2010 at 6.15pm
Lost 4 wickets

Aside from a good partnership by the returning Purcell, 48, and Faisal, 30, the match was depressing one way traffic. Pacific batted first and made a below par 130 all out. Webley ran out an opener second ball of the Rose & Crown innings and Faisal took a good return catch, just reward for a good first couple of overs, to give Pacific hope. However, from then the bowling was OK and the fielding distinctly average and this was not good enough to defend 130. Pete Alexander claimed a wicket on his return to the team.
